The personnel was really good. The setting was particularly good, short walk to the Sil Canyon, deep canyons, ancient monasteries and even older rock carvings and Ribeira Sacra. It also was in the middle of the city. I had comfortable days staying at this world-class hotel.
The room was a bit noisy, for me personally.

The hotel was beautiful. the staff were attentive. Its location in Sober was good, close enough to Ribeira Sacra and the Sil Canyon. I got upgraded to a reasonably spacious room.

A luxurious hotel without any pretence. Unbelieveable attention to detail in every department. Beautiful relaxing gardens and spa. Attentative but not intrusive staff who were always there to help. Sumptuous bedroom with stunning views over the Ribeira Sacra countryside. The hotel's restaurant offers exceptional cuisine. Excellent use of local produce with a modern twist, prepared by Galicia's recently voted number one chef. Excellent wine list including many local award winning wines, priced very reasonably. Unforgettable stay - we are already planning a return visit this year.
Nothing. As near as possible to perfection in every category!

Great service even for a 5 star hotel. Fantastic restaurant and surroundings.
It is a pity that just one employee speaks English.

The deluxe double room at Aurea Palacio de Sober was absolutely amazing! The cozy bed was super comfy, and the room had everything I needed for a worry-free stay. I loved the charming old manor house vibe, it made me feel like I was staying in a fairytale castle.
Personally, I wasn't too fond of the single beds in the room. But hey, that's just my preference, and I'm sure others would still enjoy them.

The comfort of the bedroom came close to our own, the quality of the food in the restaurant despite the chef not being in those days, was the level we enjoy. The friendliness of the reception personnel was an extra plus. The pool area was clean and spacious, the gardens were well cared for and the surroundings peaceful.
The explanation and access to the spa was not explained sufficiently.

The deluxe double room at Aurea Palacio de Sober was simply amazing! I loved the cozy feel of the old manor house and the comfort of the double bed. The room had everything I needed for a relaxing and carefree stay. It made me feel like I was in a fairytale!
Although the charm of the old manor house was delightful, some may find it a bit too rustic for their taste.

Enjoyed a world-class hotel experience with stunning architecture, friendly staff, and delicious meals at the nearby restaurant Berso. Truly a memorable stay!
Who needs wifi in their rooms or a lunch option at a hotel? So overrated!
